Dear Shapely Gal readers,
Six years ago, I started this newsletter to make sense of modern relationships, love, marriage, the logistics, the sheer absurdity of it all. Together, we’ve decoded dating apps, marriage expectations, cultural contradictions, and the ever-evolving rules of connection. It’s been fascinating, frustrating, and occasionally unhinged, and I’ve loved every minute of it.
But even the best relationships evolve. And this one has run its course.
Since shutting down Marriage Broker Auntie in the end of 2021, I’ve felt a quiet but undeniable shift, but I just wasn’t ready to say it out loud. But here it is …
I’m closing this chapter, officially, unofficially, fully and finally. No more relationship coaching, no more matchmaking advice, no more helping people build dating apps. My book on Modern Indian Matchmaking will be my last word on the subject. To honour everything we’ve explored together, I’ll leave my past content in the archives.
Going forward, I’m diving into the future … of AI, leadership, and the big decisions shaping our world.
If that excites you, stick around. If you were here just for relationship insights, consider this my heartfelt goodbye. Thank you for being part of this wild, wonderful ride.
Transitions are rarely tidy, but this one feels right. Onward.
Much love,
Pri
Hey! You have put a lot of insightful ideas about the modern relationships. I am definitely going to miss it. So many times I have applied your ideas in my relationship.
Godspeed for your new ventures.
Thank you Priyanka! Every article not only resonated deeply but also offered a thoughtful approach to understanding the nuances of human connections & a compass of sorts for seeking directions.
Your posts has been both enlightening and thought provoking over the last 5 odd years (since Dinner Club), and I am really grateful for that.
